YOUR DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Since being founded in 2000, Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue has come to the aid of more than 2400 cats and kittens—and it has been possible thanks to donations from people who care about helping homeless animals. Our organization is 100-percent volunteer-based and every dollar that you donate goes directly to help pay for the needs of the cats and kittens in our care.

Money received helps fund the cost of food, litter, and veterinary fees, which is our largest expense. Essential veterinary procedures include: spay/neuter surgery, dental surgery, emergency surgery, examinations, vaccinations, testing for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and flea and ear mite treatments

Please support our efforts of saving cats and kittens from abandonment, abuse, and shelter euthanasia by making a donation to Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue. We are a registered charity and tax receipts will be issued for donations over $20.00.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE

Foster Homes

Between the time cats and kittens are rescued and when they can be permanently placed for adoption, foster homes provide an important stepping stone. During kitten season, in particular, we are constantly seeking short-term homes for rescued felines.

The number of animals we can rescue is dependent upon having a sufficient number of foster homes available to provide the cats and kittens with a safe, temporary haven. If you can open up your home and your heart to an animal in need, you are sure to find it a marvelous experience. Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue pays for veterinary care—you provide the love!

Barn Homes for Feral Cats or Timid Cats

Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue volunteers endeavor to find the right home for each and every cat we rescue. In some cases, the indoor lifestyle is not the kindest environment for a cat, particularly if the animal is not socialized—and barn homes are the perfect answer!

Barn cats are advantageous to barn-owners as they discourage rodents and provide companionship for horses and other farm animals. In return, the cats are able to live in relative safety and comfort. The cats are healthy, vaccinated, and have already been spayed or neutered.

Hold a Fundraising Event

Hosting your own fundraising event is a creative way to raise money for Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue. Garage sales, a 50/50 draw, or a bake sale at your workplace are all great ways to benefit and support our organization. We can assist you with signage and promote your event our Facebook page.

Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue relies on loving foster homes as temporary havens for rescued cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and therefore every foster-home space enables us to come to the aid of an animal in need.

As a foster family, you provide a safe and nurturing environment, as well as necessary supplies such as food, toys, and litter. Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue is responsible for all veterinary expenses.

Fostering is a rewarding and fulfilling experience and we have several families that have been involved in our foster home program for many, many years. If you can enable us to make a difference in the lives of abandoned cats and kittens in our community, please fill out the Foster Application form below. We look forward to having you join our team!
